Dash work on 2005 Dodge Ram 1500

I plan to replace the radio in my truck soon and would like a heads up as to what to expect when i need to remove the dash.

Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable. Remove center instrument panel bezel. Remove the lower steering column opening cover. CAUTION: When servicing the instrument center bezel, use tape or another suitable material to protect the cup holder and ash receiver from cosmetic damage. Open the ashtray and the cup holder. Remove the screw that secures the instrument panel center bezel to the instrument panel ). Using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, disengage the retainer clips that secure the instrument panel center bezel to the instrument panel. Disconnect the wire harness connectors and remove the center bezel from the vehicle. Remove radio mounting fasteners. CAUTION: Pulling the antenna cable straight out of the radio without pulling on the locking antenna connector could damage the cable or radio. Disconnect the antenna cable by pulling the locking antenna connector away from the radio. Disconnect electrical harness connector.
