This problem started about a month ago. It stops and all of a sudden there is a click and everything is working again. It has happened 3-4 times lasts from a hour to days. Also the battery had to be replaced because it kept dieing. I thought this was the problem but I guess not.

The common link between the Power Windows and Door Locks is the Driver Door Module (DDM) and the common link between all of your concerns is the Body Control Module (BCM). The BCM outputs control the Dash Gauges, Cluster Illumination and the Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Temperature and Mode Control. The BCM Is linked to your DDM via a Data Bus. I suggest that you have your vehicle inspected by a qualified Dealership Technician. It may be as simple as a loose connector at the BCM or the BCM is failing internally.
