Yes, I saw the service manager of a local Toyota Dealer. A great guy and did an estimate for over $2,000 to replace the dash.
Yes, I registered my complaint with Corporate offices in CA. Got a case number too.
Now what. Has anyone made any major effort to get EVERYONE who gets onto sites like this, to organize an effort and reach out to Toyota USA and
and tell them their foam, is cracking....and get to others as well.
Yes, since 2007 I've garaged my Solara Convert....Red, tan top. The second one I've purchased....I cover the dash when I'm outside, parked, which is rare. This is a sin. A fantastic product, and a screw up that they turn their back to...well, there are other brands Mr. Toyota. You use to have it all to yourself. It can get worse.
HOW DO WE ORGANIZE AND DO SOME PR, SOME LETTER WRITING, SOME ORGANIZING OF LISTS, GET TO REGIONAL AND NATIONAL AND IMPORTERS/DISTRIBUTORS of Toyota products, and national media.
The squeeky wheel get the attention. Looking for effort not whinney letters like mine. Let's do something.
