My son and I recently changed out the engine, D4 was not
flashing before we did the change, but now it is, I'm sure it's
something we missed or failed to do. Is this something
major? Need Help
Check the AT Control Unit, which is located underneath the passenger side floorboard. There are two computers underneath the floorboard. It is the one on the right, the smaller unit. The numbers must match exactly. The numbers vary according to whether the car is an LX, DX or EX. Simply disconnect the battery, take out the two plugs that plug into the bottom of the computer, and replace the unit. The problem should be solved. The Control Unit can be purchased from a salvage yard for $50-100. We think that the numbers match on 90-93 and are therefore interchangeable.
