1998 Plymouth Voyager Question: cylinder 1 misfire

Question

Hello:

I get a cylinder 1 misfire on this vehicle. Sometimes it boggs down like it doesn't want to accelerate. Accelerator to the floor it just misses and creeps along and then catches. Sometimes it does it from a cold start. It starts but sits there and misses terribly then straightens up and idles fine and runs great. This is intermittent and doesn't even happen everyday. What would cause this?

Thanks in advance
Treavor

    Hey Treavor,
There are several possibilities, I assume you're getting a P0301 code? If so, here is a ton of info about what will cause a misfire: http://repairpal.com/OBD-II-Code-P0301
