what are the symptoms of a bad cv joint? vehicle has 92,000+ miles.

    In most cased a bad cv joint will do one of three things. 1) The cv boot seal will split casing the grease to leak out. 2) Make a clicking noise when turning. 3) Cause a vibration, most commonly at freeway speeds.

    It has always been a KNOCKING sound when turning,, should not be bad this early... look carefully at them and check for cracks,,if no cracks should be ok.
