Question: CV inner boot leakining oil

Honda dealer informed me that driver's side inner CV boot is leaking at seal around axle. He wants $250.00 to replace, I'm going to break retainer ring and put a new one on. CV joint is not craked or ripped and no noise or excess grease is observec from boot, only slight amount of grease is seen to have leaked out.

    My 2006 Ridgeline at 48,000 oil change had both inner axels seals leaking, Possible due to Honda dealer technician putting too much grease under pressure. Next oil change at another Honda dealer said nothing during maintenance inspection,.... Sounds like a maintenance skam tso technician can make money
