I have replaced the fuel filters and plugs and wires. If you just sit and idle it is fine but when you go drive it then it cuts out and won't go anywhere. What could it be?

I would start by checking the fuel pressure and fuel pump delivery. It should put out 1 pint of fuel in ten seconds of running if not the pump is failing or the filter is blocked. The fuel pump should put out 30 to 40 psi with the engine running for the 5.0L engine.

It might be a fuel pump relay, there are two on the inner finder on the drivers side.

Try replacing idle air value, it's on the right side of the throttle body if your standing in front of the truck. Or if you want to save some money and use a little time soak your old one in carb cleaner. Or one other thing might be throttle position censor, under throttle body.
