Question: cuts off while driving

 Rookie

99 honda civic lx problem started when car would cut off @ red lights or stop signs ect.& the only way to stop it from cutting off is turning the air conditioner ON. now it cuts off whlie driving down the road!?! any ideas??

  Most likely you have a distributer problem or another possibility is a power relay which is located under the dash on the drivers side.

  This just happen to me too but when i turn my a/c on my car cuts off or gets very slow... and i dnt kno whats the problem

• Engine cut off while driving
  The engine on my 1997 Civic EX suddenly cut off while I was driving it. Now it won't turn over at all, although all the electricals seem strong (lights etc.) Suggestions?
