Seems like this happens when it gets hot outside. Does not happen in the winter. If I stop after driving it and get back in it and try to reset the cruise, it will not come on. But, after I drive several miles and keep tring to set it, it will finally set. It has also shut it self off while driving. Again this only happens when it is warm weather and the hotter it gets the wrose it acts.

MasterTo initiate operation, the cruise control needs to see:
-brake light switch signal
-speed control deactivation switch signal
-steering column switches
-speed control servo.Something in that list is likely malfunctioning intermittently causing the system to not operate.
