Question: Cranks but sometime vehicle won't start

The problem dosen't happen every time I try to start it. When I crank the engine it seems like the engine is starving for fuel, I replaced the air fitler and fuel filter. It didn't seem to make a differnence. the problem happens maybe one out of every fifteen times I try to strat it. Any Suggestion?

    Due to the intermittency of the problem it won't be easy to diagnose unless the CEL (Check Engine Light) is on.
    It would be good to know if there is no spark or no fuel when the problem happens.

  • Sometimes it won"t start
    about once every week or so. My 2002 F-150 just won't start back up after driving awhile. Give it 30 minutes and it starts fine. Also has a hard miss while accelerating especially around 45 mph....
