This problem just started. Parked at store, 2 hours later will not start. Had a code P1345, cleard and not returned. Replaced fuel pump and filter. No help. Fuel pressure is 55-60. Good spark. Will start and run if fuel is poured into TB opening. While running this way if throttle is pressed engine will die as if out of fuel.

1997 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 Question: Cranks but not start
Answer #1Visitor, November 12, 2010, 08:19
fuel pressure for cold start must be no less than 62lbs. vehicle will run at 45psi after engine is warm. check pressure regulator. if reg. holds steady, most likely fuel pump is weak.
