    Remove/Install Crankshaft Position Sensor

Shown On Engine 113 In Model 220

Behind driver's valve cover above the bellhousing (location L5)

    Work Instructions

NOTE: Remove Air cleaner (engine side).

Crankshaft position sensor to engine block - 8 N.m

NOTE: If the crankshaft position sensor (L5) was replaced, a re-initialization must be carried out with STAR DIAGNOSIS in the menu item control module adaptations.

$140.00 for the sensor and 0.7 hours to replace but need to reinitiatize using factory scanner.

it's located behind the left cylinder head just in front
of the bell housing. labor guide gives .7/hr, so it's
almost worth it to pay someone.
