the outside ring where the belt rides was seperated from crankshaft pulley and was pushed back towards the engine. can this be repaired without pulley removal?..if not any guesstimate on repair shop cost?

MasterDid this ring have a toothed metal ring attached to it? And what type of engine do you have? 4.0 liter engine? I suspect you have a major timing issue now and the engine may have been damaged.

pushrod, January 08, 2013, 14:53ReplyMasterI agree, it has destroyed the crank sensor, replace both parts and that will fix it. Check the belt also!
