Crank but No Start Condition and No Fuel Pressure on Mazda 626

If the engine cranks but does not start, it may be caused by a tripped inertia switch. Switch the key to "ON" and the fuel pump should be heard running for a second or two. Listen at the gas filler if necessary. If you do not hear the pump the inertia switch should be reset, it will "click" when it is reset.

Wouldn't start after a 20 minute drive. Thirty minutes later, it started fine. Drove it to repair garage where it sat overnight. Garage staff reports it ahas started fien everytime they've looked at it. They ran tests on fuel pump, checked filter, still starting fine. I hate problems like this.,

same cranks but no start. sometimes you wait 10 to 30 minutes an starts sometimes overnight 2nd to last time was 3 days then started. Now has been many more days than that. Have spark plugs are wet after cranking. replaced both fuses in panel under hood. There is no inertia switch on Mazds? Now a person said that there is a 2x2 black box under steering wheel that is a relay and he replaced that and there was not another starting issue for about a year, then it did it again and his daughter replaced that box and it started right up. What and where exactly is this mysterious relay under steering wheel? Will be watching and thanks Ther

Was wandering where the fuel inertia switch is located the vehicle is not getting fuel. I have read that it might be the switch needing rest it does have done battery connections since bought car two weeks ago fixed the connection . where busy ight the reset switch be. See I can try that before jumping to the fuel pump it self

fixed missing and misdirected vac lines, bought solenoids, new battery, 2 new fuel hoses, cleaned egr/throttle body, fixed leaky intake and bolted down lifted wires in case they were loose. timing belt is fine, trans, engineand major parts are good. new sensors, gaskets and brakes. it starts but after riding for awhile and shut it off IT WONT RESTART until sometime later! same as u guys. someone said it maybe a fuel pump but not sure. im getting stressed the hell out about it. ive spent over $600 trying to figure out and the guy who sold it to me is no longer replying nor even helping even tho I asked if it needed repairs and he said no. any advice helps! im trying to narrow it down but doing that is in school with a child and laid off. HELP PLEASE! it seems a lot of ppl are having this problem yet I see no recalls!
