If the engine cranks but does not start, it may be caused by a tripped inertia switch. Switch the key to "ON" and the fuel pump should be heard running for a second or two. Listen at the gas filler if necessary. If you do not hear the pump the inertia switch should be reset, it will "click" when it is reset.

    replaced battery and hauled in on rollback lights blink and horn blows cranks over but will not start. acts as though the security system is shutting it down.

    Wouldn't start after a 20 minute drive. Thirty minutes later, it started fine. Drove it to repair garage where it sat overnight. Garage staff reports it ahas started fien everytime they've looked at it. They ran tests on fuel pump, checked filter, still starting fine. I hate problems like this.,

    change safety lock put it all back together started up fine drove it for 2 miles sit for 2 hoursand now it wants to do is crank and that's all
