I have been doing this a LONG time, never seen this engine have a timing chain problem! It has a simple 'three piece' all steel componet set and is very durable. However anything that can happen, usually does. What kind of problem do you have? Do you have the timing cover off and the engine is out of time? Or the engine has not been starting? Little more info because the timing chain is more than likely ok! It can be tested easily without engine disassembly.

The marks are classic dots, put the dot on the camshaft at 6 o'clock, and the crank at 12 o'clock so that they line up.
