Cottman Total Auto Care & Transmission
Try this place if you have a problem no one can figure out. I went to 2 mechanics to fix my cruise control. Between the 2 places I spent over $300 and it still didn't work. My sister told me she was happy with work cottman did on her honda. After they checked my car out they found the problem was a bad tail light! This is my only car and they also gave me a ride home and picked me up. Great service seems to be a thing of the past. This place is different and I would recommend them to anyone.

I brought my Lexus to the dealer to look at shaking I was feeling when I went over bumps. They gave me a list of items that totaled over 2 grand! Figured I’d get a second opinion. Cottman had rebuilt the transmission on my pickup and I decided to have them look at my Lexus. It turned out that nothing on the dealer’s list was needed. Cottman charged me 350 dollars to replace struts and do an alignment and that fixed the shaking completely.
I strongly recommend these guys. Nick, the mechanic who looked at my car really knew what he was doing. I also feel I can trust they won’t sell me something I don’t need.Flag ThisLike0 -

I was sent to Cottman Transmission by my regular mechanic to diagnose a transmission problem. That was the first sign that they were reliable and competent, since my mechanic wouldn't send me to the wolves. The service advisor was cheerful and courteous, taking time to explain the diagnostic process. The technicicians spent aproximately 45 minutes on my car before identifying a loose speed sensor, which the tightened free of charge and sent me on my way.
