The replacement costs are now covered by the dealer as this car (2005-2008 Corolla) has been recalled because of the faulty module. F.Y.I. The dealer cost for the module is $625.00, and the installation fee is around $50.00.

It cost me about 1600 at the dealer

I had same problem I got a letter from toyota there is recall for ECM check with toyota dealer.
