Cost of Ignition Wire Replacement on 2007 Dodge Caliber

I was told be the Dealer that it would cost $1,000 to replace the ignition wires that they stated appeared to have been eaten through by a rodent. This seems high. Can anyone tell me if this seems right?

This depends on the damaged parts. If the damage is to the wiring harness, then yes, this can easily run $1000. Without seeing the actual damage or knowing what part they need to replace, that's the best I can do.

A no crank or no start condition may be the result of a theft system fault. Our technicians tell us that replacing the wireless control module should correct this issue.
