To replace the timing belt only is about 2.5 hrs labor, I don't know the labor rate in your area. You could call a couple of shops to find out. The belt costs about $60. Usually there are other services necessary by the time the t-belt is due for replacement, like cam and crank seals and perhaps should replace the t-belt tensioner also. You may need coolant or drive belts, etc. by this time too. A responsible mechanic would like to take care of the additional stuff so there's no problem later with items that would require redoing the t-belt job.
