The water pump is driven by the timing belt, my labor guide says to replace the water pump alone is a seven hour job, timing belt replacement is 6.5 hours work on the non turbo engine. If the air conditioning needs to evacuated, cam or crankshaft seals need to be replaced additional labor costs will apply. Looking at the suggested manufacturer service requirements they say replace spark plugs, plug wires, oil and filter and a major inspection of the vehicle. Timing belt was required to be changed at 102,000 miles under normal operating conditions.
