im having some problems with high temp its at 210 is that normal operating,just bought blazer and still learning?

    The service manual says T/stat should start to open at 188 degrees and be fully open at 206 degrees, the gauges are often inaccurate, I look at a scan tool and see what the computer sees if I am in doubt. Perhaps with hotter weather approaching maybe remove thermostat, add heavy duty flush, flush the cooling system thoroughly and replace t/stat and coolant be you should be OK right now.

    thank you,the dealer says he replaced the thermstat,ill try flushing the system.188 really?206 fully open wow!i have a full size chevy 2500 and it runs cooler about 150.
