Low coolant level will cause the light

Find the leak and correct the issue by means of parts replacement

In rare cases the coolant level sensor could be faulty

I have a 1994 325Is and at the end of summer and the beginning of spring the damn coolant light warning comes on. Changed the radiator but still have the same warning even though the level is fine. I'm guessing they have faulty sensors.
