Isuzu Pickup Coolant Leak From Heater Core

(8 reports)

The heater core may leak coolant, excess coolant loss can result in engine overheating. Our technicians tell us a revised, copper heater is available to replace the original aluminum one.

I am asking for my mechanic to test the core if it is something that is done without special equipment- then i can determine if that was the problem- I assume it is because the previous owner had installed a new radiator. I have not found out much in regard to how a test is done or where to find a copper heater core. -
