coolant leak on 1995 GMC Jimmy

The past 2 months I had to put coolant in. I just looked and I have to add more. I have found coolant leaking from the transmission face plate. Its not lots but I don't want to have to keep adding more and more.

It is not uncommon for the intake manifold gasket on your 1995 GMC Jimmy to leak coolant onto the Transmission. However, I am not sure what you mean by transmission "face". The proper way to test a cooling system for leaks is to apply pressure using a special tester and inspect the system. If you are unsure how to perform this test you may need some professional help.
