Question: CONVERTIBLE TOP WANT GO UP OR DOWN....

MY TOP WANT WORK UNLESS I RUN A LIVE HOT WIRE TO IT THIS IS THE ONLY WAY I CAN GET IT TO WORK.THE FUSES & RELAYS OR GOOD.IT WILL NOT WORK FROM THE SWITCH.SO IM PUZZLED WHAT COULD POSSIBLY CAUSE THIS MALFUNCTION.

    Well, if it's true that running a live hot wire to it operates the top, then you either have a wiring issue to the motor or a switch problem. My money is on the switch. Remove the switch and test the wires there - if you can get the top to drop at that connector, then you know it's the switch.
