1999 Volvo C70 Question: convertible problem!!!

 Rookie

i don t have a problem with the top i beleive, the first part goes up just fine, so i believe the motor works, but then it stops its sicle because the boot top ( the hard part in the inside that raises 90dgrs) gets stock. It works manually... anyone knows why please?

    There are micro switches and other sensors in the top and the boot lid that need to function properly for the complete cycle to occur. One of these items is likely failed. You'll need to have a shop with the appropriate computer tool to read the sensors to determine which one is causing the problem. They will also use the same tool to calibrate the top so it work properly after the repair.
