2004 Chrysler Pacifica Question: control panel

the lights in the temp control panel do not work since i have had this problem there is no heat would the lights being affect the actual heat in the car or do i have another problem also the a/c works but not the heat -
Answer 1
You may have an HVAC Control Module issue. The A/C-heater control is located at the center of the instrument panel and uses electrical controls. These controls provide the vehicle operator with a number of setting options to help control the climate and comfort within the vehicle. The A/C-heater control cannot be repaired and, if faulty or damaged, it must be replaced. -
