control arm vs bushing replacement on 2002 Buick Century

I took my car into the dealership to check on some problems, and I only have a few days left of my extended warranty. I got a really good warranty that is supposed to cover everything. The warranty people are only going to cover replacing the control arm bushings, but the dealership is telling me that I really should have the entire control arm replaced or I will have problems. Is this likely? Should I argue it with the warranty people?

If you have a skilled tech do the job, the bushings can be pressed in and out. many dealerships don't have seasoned techs that have enough 'old school' experience to do this type of work, they need to replace the entire control arm.
