In 2012 august to be exact a very hot day i turned on the a/c and noticed it was just getting hotter i noticed a burning rubber smell suddenly i couldnt turn the steering wheel and finally made it to a grocery store parking lot. I located a near by repair shop and had my car towed there come to find our the a/c compressor went out cost me 858.00. After having my car for 5 years now everything is beginint to go wrong and starting to cost me money.
The air condition compressor has had to be replaced twice and needs to be replaced again. It costs about $1200.00 each time. I can't skip the fixing of it because the bearing freezes up and melts the powers steering belt. If I don't get the new compressor, I won't have power steering. THIS CAR IS THE WORST, Never Ever Again will I own a Cadillac. I am very disappointed.

I've had four ac compressors replaced over five years with same problem. I am left without power steering when ac compressors give out.
