Cadillac SRX Problem Report
Cadillac SRX A/C Compressor may fail prematurely
In 2012 august to be exact a very hot day i turned on the a/c and noticed it was just getting hotter i noticed a burning rubber smell suddenly i couldnt turn the steering wheel and finally made it to a grocery store parking lot. I located a near by repair shop and had my car towed there come to find our the a/c compressor went out cost me 858.00. After having my car for 5 years now everything is beginint to go wrong and starting to cost me money. - Visitor
The air condition compressor has had to be replaced twice and needs to be replaced again. It costs about $1200.00 each time. I can't skip the fixing of it because the bearing freezes up and melts the powers steering belt. If I don't get the new compressor, I won't have power steering. THIS CAR IS THE WORST, Never Ever Again will I own a Cadillac. I am very disappointed. - Megin
