I was told that I need a new engine (long block) replaced,

It was not in the choices under "services"

    Engine prices vary and your GM dealer and Quality Auto Parts stores like Napa are your best bet for a replacement engine or finding a low mileage used engine from your local wrecking yard is another option The minimum book time is 12.4 hours to remove and replace, So its a big job.
