Question: comparing miles driven and odometer

 Rookie

MY odometer mathematically indicates I have driven 200 miles but my energy display says 180 miles why is this? Do I need to look into this.

    Probably not something to worry about. My guess would be that the odometer is what you should believe and go with, and the "energy display" is probably a calculation or extrapolation based on data the engine computer is analyzing.

    I'd like to hear a specific answer, if any has one.
