coil pack testing on 1994 Ford Ranger

How do you test the primary circuit on the coil packs? 1994 2.3L

get a wiring diagram and look at the voltage. you need power to the coil first. then you need resistance across the 2 primary terminals. that spec is available in a manual or on alldata or mitchel. then the return or other wire goes back to the ecm and is gorunded when commanded . Roy
