Hello, I have a 1998 Isuzu amigo 2.2 dohc. My question is how can I test my coil pack. Before I make the decision to just replace it. It has a very weak spark when i crank it over. So is there a way I can test it with my ohm meter or take it to a dealership to have it tested. Car is giving me horrible performance

First, check for loose or corroded terminals at the ignition control module (ICM). That's a common cause of trouble for these vehicles.
To test the coil pack, there should be 0.8k Ohms to 1.2k Ohms across the coil towers between Cyls 1 and 4, and between 2 and 3. Sorry to say, these coils can test OK on resistance and still not function adequately. Be sure that the ignition wires are OK, no damage and have resistance of about 5k Ohms/foot.
