Question: coil keeps burning out

not the same one, doesn,t die till next start. seems more likely to die after long drive

    I don't know what the question is - but I will address your dying conern.

    You do have a Thick Film Ignition (TFI) Module on the left fender apron. These classically fail when they are distributor mounted. They don't fail as much on the fender apron. but still can, yielding a stall and a hard restart.

    thanks, refeering to questionin in more understanding print>my coil was replaced 3 times in 2 weeks, without warning . and it seems after long drives ,when restart is required is when the dead coil is detected, is the problem related to your answer>(quote..You do have a Thick Film Ignition (TFI) Module on the left fender apron.
