Hi, I am trying to figure out what the codes mean on my "99" C230K mean. They started at code 1500 and went down to -100. Do you know what they mean? Thanks..

This is the FSS (Flexible Service System) indicating that your vehicle needs servicing, and the number is a mileage count down to let you know how many miles are left before it determines you need to change the oil and perform other maintenance based on things like mileage, time, driving conditions etc.
Here is an owners manual for the 2000 C230, it should be the same: http://bit.ly/mercedes_FSS_maintenance
    See page 77
