I have some codes that were given to me by the emission test place; if I provide those codes, will you be able to tell me what they are related to?

    Thanks Roy! The trouble codes are: P0420, P0430, P0138, P0141 & P0300.

Also, if you can tell me what the repair cost will be approximately, that would be great.

    Thanks again

420, 430 are cat converter codes.
138,141 are o2 sensor codes for voltages.
    300 is a random missfire.

the 300 missfire is indicating the engine not running on all cylinders. the missfires more than likely caused the cat failures from waiting too long for repair.
the o2 codes are possibly wiring or sensor failure codes.

you need a shop that can help you as these have to be verfied and you can get a bid. it looks like a heavy price tag on this repair.

how long was the light on??

the next time the light comes, dont wait so long. the cat is very sensitive to missfires.
