Code Definition: Buick: Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Heater Control Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 2 This is generally due to a failed Oxygen sensor heater. The heater is part of the O2 Sensor and is similar to a cigarette lighter, when current is applied to it, it heats up. A quick check of the power and ground signal to the sensor, and a resistance check of the heater circuit will reveal the problem.
