Question: CODE "IN 02"

Milana, 4 Cylinder, Millbrook, NY, March 21, 2009, 19:34
 Rookie

Car was running okay, after turning it off,and trying to turn it on after an hour or so keeps showing me code "IN 02"?
Does anyone know what this could be?

    It sounds like an oxygen sensor related code. How are you retrieving this code? There should be a 4 digit number like P0130 or P0171 etc.

    IN 02 is the SRI or service reminder indicator. Required service per the mileage interval should be done and the SRI re-set via a scan tool or following the alternate procedure in the ownwers manual.
