Your radio needs to be coded. You'll have to get the radio code from the dealer or a Mitsu specialist. i don't think you'll have to pay money for that itself, I'd think the dealer would do it as a courtesy. If you have your owner's manual, the coding procedure should be outlined for you. Otherwise, you'll have to get the radio coded by the dealer or a specialist and I think you'll owe a minimal amount for that. it'll take them time and a technician to do it. After you get the code, write it in your owner's manual so you don't lose it. By the way, when I replace a battery, I keep the system powered up with a jumper so I don't un-code the radio and have to spend time with it after.
