1999 Honda CR-V Question: code error

 Rookie

Battery went dead on 99 Honda CR-V - was jumped and now code error on radio - no radio, clock, etc. Do not have the manual as car was bought used and was not in car. . . where do we find the security code to reactivate and what are the steps to get this fixed??

    A lot of Hondas required the radio to be removed and the chassis number of the radio was then accessible. You then had to call the dealer and they gave you a code to enter in your radio using the numbers on the radio presets of your stereo.
    Sometimes there is a sticker in the glove box with the radio code but usually it is a card that comes with the owners handbook you recieve when you purchase the car new.
