P1443 is the third most common DTC (diagnostic trouble code) on Mustangs. When this code pops up, it means that there is "incorrect evaporative system purge control valve flow". To put it simply, either one of the vacuum lines on the evap system is leaking and needs to be replaced or the canister purge valve needs to be replaced. Start by inspecting the vacuum lines. They run from the gas tank up to the engine compartment

As you can see by the answer, is not always just replacing a part, you need to do inspections.
