clutch switch on 1993 Dodge Dakota

when i try to start my truck sometimes it will start then sometimes it wont but i dont have to press the clutch!

Replace the clutch interlock switch.

I usually tap on the starter to get the brushes to jiggle and engage the commutator on the starter. If it then starts replace the brushes or the whole starter.
