1995 Honda Civic del Sol Question: clutch release bearing needs replacement

I was told that my "clutch release bearing" was making noise and needed to be replaced. What would be a fair estimate of that repair? I was told the transmission needs to be pulled out to make the repair and that would take a lot of time to make the repair.

If your clutch release bearing is noisey, you do have to have the transmission removed to replace it. If you are going to have that done, you might as well do the clutch at the same time. The reason being, we know the clutch and the release bearing are installed at the same time so if one has gone bad, it will not be long before the other goes bad and it is not worth it to have the transmission removed twice. Just go to our estimating page and check the clutch replacement estimate, that should answer your questions. Good luck.
