Question: Clutch on 1997 Maxima

I recently went to drive my Max. just to find out I had to pump my clutch several time before it go into gear. Why is that.

     Master

    Air in hyd.clutch system,check fluid level.May need slave cyl.or poss.master cyl.
    more likely slave cyl!!
