Question: clutch fan removel

which wa does clutch fan come off? standard threads or backwards threads.

    Has left hand threads clockwise opens !

    left handed thread. plus you need the special holder tool and 1.25" open end wrench to move it.

    google: fan clutch bmw holding tool. you can make one yourself with a grinder, and a 5/16" drill bit.
