The clutch in my cobalt ss has gone out and I can't afford to take it on so I'm going to change it myself I've done clutches in trucks but never a front wheel drive car so I'm wondering if someone can tell me the easiest way to change it and everything I need to do to replace it

you will need to remove the transaxle, shop time is over 8 hours; not an easy job. would advise this only if you have a shop manual in front of you as there are bolt torque specs that you will need.
When driving my car (with the AC on)i notice when coming to a stop with the clutch in and it idles down, it bounces. Almost to where it stalls. It doesn't do it with the AC off....
...he t/c light comes and goes and the car surges and jerks at any given time mostly when the a/c clutch engages. the a/c runs hot now and there is a smell coming from the engine compartment. please h...
