Car was sitting for about 7 months, once it started to be driven again it was ok (delayed or sluggish reaction to the gas pedal). Then it couldnt get past 1500 rpm or 10 mph. press on the gas and it wouldnt go, kind of putting in and out. Even died from pushing on the gas. Put in some STP fuel injector cleaner which finally allowed me to get up to regular speeds. What service should be done, if in fact the injectors are the problem?

Remove the air filter and check that a mouse or rodent has not built a nest in the air filter housing or ducting. Had a Jaguar that had been sitting for a year in a garage started the car up, mice had built a nest in both exhaust pipes. Frequently see mice build nests in the air filter ducts and housing. Or worse eat wires causing electrical problems.
