Question: Clicking Sound Under Dash

I hear a clicking sound under the dash on the passenger side. Sometimes the sound is very faint other times it is very obvious. When I first heard the sound I thought that I had my turn signals on but checked and they were not on. Any ideas how I can eliminate this noise?

Really need to determine what is causing the noise, because it may be a real problem. Then you can decide if you want to remove the component.

See if it changes when you turn your A/C system from the panel setting to the floor etc, it may be a defective A/C door motor.

Move the air from hot to cold see if it makes the noise. Might be the plastic gears of the blend door motor. I Hope not because that takes a good bit of labor to do that job.
