clicking noise in van on 1995 Dodge Caravan

Van makes clicking noise when driving @ highway speeds, and then mysteriously dissappears, and when you listen for it again; you can't hear it, and the clicking noise happens periodically!

have the front axles checked for the boots torn and all the grease leaking out causing joint failure. Roy

When you pull over and try to restart, the fuse box starts making a loud ticking noise. After you wait until the van cools down it will start right back up.
